Geo Lago CADD Manager

As CADD Manager of Architecture, Mr. Lago is responsible for the stable operation of in-house CAD (computer-aided design) software within the organization. This includes developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all CAD installations across the enterprise.

Mr. Lago has had over 27 years of experience in the architectural industry, including 17 years at Stiles Architectural Group. Prior to Stiles he was the CADD Manager and Operator at Robert Walters Architects. Being one of the first CADD vendors in South Florida, Mr. Lago was at the forefront of Micro CADD technology in South Florida.

Mr. Lago developed, implemented and trained the CAD instructional program at the International Fine Arts College in Miami and CADD Coach at ITT Technical Institute of Drafting and Design. Utilizing the latest advancements in technology, he trained at the Studio of Digital Arts and Florida International University to implement Building Information Modeling (BIM). BIM is a virtual development tool that is based on a 3-D model of a building created in an object-oriented (intelligent) modeling software.
