Kenneth Stiles CEO
Mr. Kenneth Stiles recently transitioned to CEO of the company subsequent to the transition of his father Terry Stiles to Company Chair. Mr. [Ken] Stiles also serves on the company's board of directors, executive committee, investment review committee and business development committee.
As part of his chief responsibilities, he manages Stiles' ongoing communication with the company's financial services partners and works directly with the investment team to identify new business opportunities. As a board member, he works closely with fellow members in the development and implementation of the company's 50-year sustainability and growth plans. In addition, Mr. Stiles oversees the Stiles family office.
Mr. Stiles' passion for real estate began at an early age, through years of watching his father Terry build the corporation from only two employees in 1951 to the 320+ today. With a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Elon University in North Carolina, Mr. Stiles had already begun to lay the groundwork for a successful career.
Mr. Stiles began his career at Stiles as an assistant development manager working on major office building projects in South Florida including Lake Shore Plaza I in Sunrise. He quickly advanced, taking the role as investment manager, where he managed several significant projects throughout Florida.
Among his charitable participation, Mr. Stiles is on the board of the Miami Beacon Council and Chairman of the Museum of Discovery and Science and serves as a member of the Young Presidents' Organization. He also is a graduate of the Leadership Broward Class XXXI and maintains a large history of involvement with the Riverwalk Trust, and Habitat for Humanity of Broward, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He is a current members of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and Urban Land Institute (ULI).
Mr. Stiles is a native of Fort Lauderdale, and currently resides in the Rio Vista area. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and golfing.
