Fort Lauderdale-based Stiles Construction, a longstanding construction management services provider throughout Florida, has received three prestigious Eagle awards at the 2017 Annual Excellence in Construction Competition hosted by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Florida East Coast Chapter. The ABC awards recognize the year’s top construction projects that exhibit superior quality, high standards in workmanship and excellent safety records. Eagle Award recipients are qualified to enter winning projects into the ABC National Competition.

Amongst the selected projects was Amaray Las Olas, a 254-unit luxury tower comprised of studios, one, two and three-bedroom apartments with 39 unique floorplans. Distinguished by its amenity-rich environment and incomparable protected city and ocean views, Amaray Las Olas sets a new standard for luxury apartment living in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Amenities include a coffee bar with seating, community fire pit, resident lounge with demonstration kitchen, variety of social spaces, state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga studio, and resort-style swimming pool with sundeck that overlooks downtown.

Stiles also won an Eagle Award for the Charles F. Dodge City Center of Pembroke Pines, a $58 million 189,000-square-foot facility featuring 35,000 square feet of flexible concert, meeting and event space. The center includes a new city hall, commission chambers and 11,000-square-foot art gallery. Boasting modern contemporary architecture with sleek lines and a unique layout, the city center has become the focal point of Broward County’s second-largest city and a catalyst for several new residential and commercial projects underway.

Lastly, Stiles brought home the Eagle for the Broward County Animal Care and Adoption Center, a 40,000-square-foot air-conditioned shelter that houses more than 300 dogs and cats and accommodates more than 100,000 patrons each year. With full-time veterinarian services on-site, the shelter is identified nationally as a leader in animal welfare. Stiles sought to construct a facility that is as inviting to families as it is hospitable to animals, all while creating an energy-efficient and sustainable infrastructure that will provide protection during a natural disaster.

“Receiving these awards is a significant honor given their stringent criteria and the impressive projects with which we compete,” stated Tim Moore, president of Stiles Construction. “Our team is committed to excellence and continuous innovation in everything we do, and these awards are an affirmation of the quality of work Stiles delivers.”
