Kara Venner

Ms. Kara Venner is a Senior Facility Manager and has been a valued team leader with Stiles for over a year. She oversees facility management and the operations team for the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority’s (SFRTA) facility headquarters as well as for all 19 Tri-Rail commuter stations throughout the Broward, Dade and Palm Beach counties. She is a seasoned Senior Facility Manager with experience in managing government projects, corporate campuses and commercial buildings.

Kara utilizes a wide variety of skills to oversee a project of Tri-Rail’s magnitude and scale including efficient and decisive decision making, extremely critical and effective time management, frequent and ongoing communication with her onsite maintenance and operations staff. She is exceptional in proactive vendor management and support. She acts as the primary contact with SFRTA to ensure improvements are being made, goals are being met and inspection and maintenance schedules occur in a timely manner.

Her experience includes facilitating a 20,000 SF LEED and Well certified office build out in Manhattan and putting in place green initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint as well as managing over 60 Comcast locations including retail stores and corporate offices in south Florida.

Kara began her career in New York City over 20 years ago in the event planning and conference services arena which involved high pressure environments and senior business leaders before she gravitated in 2015 into facilities and property management because of her strong desire to grow into the operations side. She is currently certified in Facilities Management.
Kara holds a degree in Hospitality Management from the State University of NY at Delhi. She has been a resident of Florida since 2019.
