Berger Commercial Realty/CORFAC International Sales Associate Mary Harris represented tenant BankUnited and Stiles Realty Senior Vice President Norm Adams and Associate Sheila Roux represented landlord Third Avenue Associates, Ltd. in two, new 10-year leases totaling nearly 10,000 square feet at the Plaza at Las Olas.
BankUnited leased 7,647 square feet of office space at 333 East Las Olas Blvd. and 2,034 square feet of retail space at 337 East Las Olas Blvd.
“BankUnited’s new downtown location increases their visibility with building signage on Las Olas Boulevard and offers a more central location to serve their clients in the heart of Fort Lauderdale’s business district,” Harris said.
Adams added, “We are excited that BankUnited chose the Stiles-owned Plaza at Las Olas. They will be an excellent addition to our financial core on Las Olas.”
