The new 40,000-square-foot modern shelter that opened in November is twice the size of the shelter’s former facility and holds up to 500 cats and dogs. Located at 2400 SW 42nd Street, the shelter is situated on a landscaped, six-acre parcel of land. Stiles Construction is managing the construction of the project in partnership with the architectural design firm, LIVS Associates of Coral Gables, which oversaw the interior design and processes of the shelter.
