Yates Marr

As the Senior Development Manager for the Carolinas, Mr. Yates Marr is responsible for the analysis, underwriting, pre-development coordination, and project management for all multifamily opportunities in North and South Carolina.

Prior to joining Stiles, Yates worked with a large multifamily developer, owner and operator in Washington, D.C. as a member of the development and investment team. His main responsibilities included the acquisition and development of over 1,500 multifamily apartments throughout the Mid-Atlantic. Following his time in D.C., Yates moved to Birmingham, Alabama where he assisted in launching a senior living development company where he was responsible for sourcing deals, underwriting, financing, development, and asset management of a portfolio of retirement communities across the Southeast with an aggregate construction value of over 250 million.

Yates holds a Bachelor’s degree from Sewanee: The University of the South and is completing his MBA at Wake Forest University School of Business with a concentration in Finance. He currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.
